Ford’s Coyote engines are coming in to their own in the hot rod world, but transplanting one into your classic is not without road blocks. One of which is connecting instrumentation; oil pressure data is not available on the CAN/Bus system for the BIM-01-2 interface to read, so the supplied 1/8” NPT sensor must be installed. This brass adapter is machined in the USA and features ¼” NPTF male threads to fit your Gen 1 and Gen 2 Coyote block, along with female threads to accommodate the stock sensor. On the side is a 1/8” NPTF port to accept the Dakota Digital oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender is not included). No drilling and tapping required; simply thread in and go!
*A range of 2016 GEN II F-150 engines used a GEN III type of pressure switch (identified with a black connector body), which contained a 12mm male thread. The 130071 is not compatible with this variation, nor GEN III applications.
Sensor is sold separately (not included).
